Working Together
what therapy with me is like
(*accepting new clients for teletherapy)
If you’re here, you’re likely curious about how this work actually unfolds, and whether it’s a good fit for what you’re navigating. This page is meant to offer a clearer sense of what therapy with me is like, and who it tends to serve well.
How the work happens
In our sessions, we slow things down. We talk and reflect. We pay attention to what’s happening internally and between us, and explore meaning, relationships, and how all of this shows up in your everyday life.
The focus isn’t on fixing or forcing change, but on developing clarity, awareness, and flexibility over time. Therapy here is conversational and collaborative, guided by curiosity rather than a fixed agenda.
I draw from different perspectives as needed, staying responsive to what’s present rather than following a rigid script. Insight and change tend to emerge through honest dialogue and careful attention.
What people often come in with
People come to this work for many reasons. Often, it includes experiences like anxiety, low mood, burnout, relationship strain, grief and loss, major life transitions, questions of identity or purpose, or struggles with habits or substances that no longer feel aligned.
Rather than treating these as problems to eliminate, we explore how they function in your life—what they may be responding to, what they’ve protected, and what they might be asking for now.
You don’t need a diagnosis or a clearly defined “issue” to begin. A sense that something isn’t quite working, or that life is asking for a different way of relating, is enough.
Fit and non-fit
This approach may be a good fit if you’re looking for:
A therapist who is conversational, relational, and engaged
Space to slow down and reflect rather than rush toward solutions
A non-pathologizing approach that still takes your struggles seriously
Support around habits or patterns with curiosity, not judgement
This may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
Highly structured or manualized therapy
A quick fix or someone to tell you exactly what to do
Therapy focused solely on symptom reduction without deeper exploration
Psychedelic preparation and integration
I also work with individuals preparing for or integrating psychedelic experiences. This work emphasizes grounding insight into everyday life — relationships, habits, values, and meaning — rather than chasing peak experiences or interpretations.
Preparation and integration are approached with the same care, presence, and collaborative spirit as the rest of my work.
Rates and practical details
I keep my rates simple and accessible. I don’t work with insurance — therapy here is private, direct, and conversational.
I also offer sliding-scale options through Open Path Collective, so cost doesn’t have to be a barrier to this work.
60-minute session: $75
Sliding scale (Open Path): $40–$70 for a 60-minute session (you choose the rate)
Some conversations need more room. When it feels useful, I also offer longer sessions.
90-minute session: $100 (available by request)
