Therapy with Me
If you’re here, you’re probably curious about what therapy with me is actually like—and whether it might be right for you. This page should give you a pretty good sense of both.
How the work happens
In our sessions, we slow things down. We talk. We reflect. We pay attention to what’s happening internally, in your relationships, and sometimes right there in the room between us.
There isn't a rigid script or a rush toward solutions. I’m interested in understanding what’s happening, how you got here, and what may be asking for your attention now.
I draw from different therapeutic perspectives as they're useful, but the work itself is grounded in honest conversation, curiosity, and careful attention. Over time, that can create greater clarity, awareness, and freedom in how you respond to your life.
Why people come in
Sometimes you know exactly why you're looking for therapy. Sometimes it's harder to name.
Maybe it's a relationship. Anxiety that keeps following you around. A loss. Something from your past that still has a hold on you. A habit or substance that's become difficult to manage. Questions about who you are, where you're headed, or why a life that looks fine from the outside doesn't quite feel that way from within.
Or maybe you simply have a sense that something deserves a closer look.
You don't need to have it figured out before we begin.
Who tends to do well here
This work tends to fit people who are open to conversation and exploration—people willing to ask honest questions and sometimes sit with uncertainty rather than immediately trying to make it disappear.
You might appreciate this approach if you want a therapist who is engaged and willing to explore alongside you; if you value reflection without endless analysis; or if you'd rather understand a pattern than simply be told how to stop it.
It may be less suited to someone looking primarily for highly structured or manualized therapy, a predetermined sequence of exercises, or someone to tell them exactly what to do.
There are times for answers. There are also times when a better question gets us further.
Psychedelic preparation and integration
I also work with individuals preparing for or integrating psychedelic experiences. The emphasis isn't on chasing peak experiences or finding the “right” interpretation. We look at how an experience connects with your everyday life—your relationships, habits, values, choices, and sense of meaning.
Preparation and integration are approached with the same curiosity and care as the rest of our work.
Rates and practical details
I keep my rates simple and accessible.

I also offer sliding-scale sessions through Open Path Collective, with rates from $40–$70 for a 60-minute session. You choose the rate.
I accept select insurance plans through Headway. If you'd like to use insurance, contact me and we can determine whether your plan is covered and what your expected cost will be.
Whether you're paying privately or using insurance doesn't change the way I work with you.
Next steps
You can schedule a session or contact me with questions about private pay, sliding-scale availability, or insurance.
You don't need to know exactly what you want to work on before starting. Sometimes not knowing is a pretty good place to begin.
